A nice Indian man with a Justin Bieber haircut at a gas station told me to be careful to not hit a moose. Canada, you are way too cute. 

It never gets old. 

I love tailgating.

The gas leak evacuation was called off and we are all back inside the building. 

I should probably eat the piece of birthday cake I brought incase we explode this afternoon. 

You know.

the night she drove here the air was thick and hot

everything smelled like honey and lightning lit up the sky

the next week I bought her a toothbrush for my place 

(even though watching her brush her teeth with her finger

was the highlight of my day)

she looks perfect when she wakes up

and when I say weird things

she responds with something even weirder

we laugh so hard it's hard to breathe

and I've never met a skinny person 

so comfortable to nap with

she's the kind of girl you take to your parents

and you take to sushi

and you take to cut a key to your apartment

it's like I dreamt her up

except she's always there when I wake up
