brrrrr

I want to look cute.
But I also want to be warm.
The perennial struggle that is Canadian winter.

wwwwhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

It's May.
It's snowing.
WTF.

(I have to create a new label/group for this post called "Surviving Canadian Summer. And by summer I mean winter. But in June!" Maybe that's too long.

I'll just go with, "AGHJHJHAAGHA!" a group dedicated to things too terrible for words!

the last anhedonic winter days

as the last anhedonic winter days slowly peter away...
I feel less and less like doing this:
and more and more like doing this:
and this:
(running in a $6000 Chanel suit?!.....?!)
and vegetables and fruit are like:
I love you Spring.
Never leave me
happpyyyysiiiiiighhhhhhh

The traditional outfit of Canadian winter:

aghhHHhhhhhh. that is all.

I'm experiencing what feels like
NEVER. ENDING. WINTER.
Honestly you guys. I don't know how much more of this I can take.
I need sun.
I need sand.
I neeeeed to frolic down a beach in a tiny piece of fabric.
Let's just say I'm on my third pair of winter gloves. That's how long this winter has been.
Yesterday, I was typing and my knuckle spilt open.
Ya.
lately I have been fantasizing many hours a day about a situation that resembles this:
(please duly note how they are wearing t-shirts)
a girl can dream

Dance all night

So, I'm off to get my car from Earl's where I left it at the witching hour.
I'm taking a cab instead of walking because:
1. I'm super sore from dancing all night at a 4 floor art party
2. It's INSANELY cold out

I actually really enjoy my ritual car-retrieving walks with Bettie(ma puppy) because:
1. It's nice to be outside. I seriously love these walks in the summer. Love.
2.  Exercise is good for the noggin
3. I feel less guilty about the debauchery if I work out haha

Which is why I go to the gym every Sunday
